Art is everywhere...

...in Cambridge!
Vor example: in front of the Lunder Arts Center.

But especially at the Harvard Campus.

We even got to hear a famous German song "Where did all the flowers go", accompanied by the glass harmonica.

Art can also be educational.

There is even art at my hair salon, ha, ha...

All you need...are good walking shoes!

And friends who like to walk! Then you even can look at Cambridge from the Boston side.

I always knew Pooh is a wise bear, but to discover that he actually has a house at Harvard was new!

Rockport - picture perfect

It's an idyllic small town, almost just in front of our door.

We strolled along the cute houses (former fishermen shacks),

we visited the harbor,

and we had our coffee with a view ( and newspaper, ha, ha).

No wonder that the local hobby artists love the view.

The pirates are at home there.

Even taking the scenic route home was fun.

Back to the past!

Jakob just discovered that his viking costume still fits him...almost...(lol)
The first time he wore it he was about 5 years old. 10 years later...

And he still can drive his go cart, though it may be a little uncomfortable now...

He found all these treasures at our storage place. Almost like a toy store.

Summer in the city...

Not yet...but it looks like it! At least in Cambridge.
The musicians are performing in the streets.

The students are sitting in the sun. Everybody else too. Me included.

Small paradise

It's a real treat to have a small outdoor space for yourself when living in the city. After a spring clean up (ugh!) we finally were able to enjoy it. Especially Joey!

Lecture time! Twice!

I visited two lecture halls this weekend. On Saturday, Jakob and I drove to the University of Connecticut to meet with my friend and her son. He gave us a nice tour of the area and inside the lecture hall. What a perfect day we had!

On Sunday, I was able to spend an afternoon of poetry in the Lecture Hall of the Cambridge Library. Henri Cole and Jordan Zandi were reading from their books. So beautiful! But so was the weather, so this big lecture hall was half empty...Too bad.
